Nikolopoulou’s Veganact: Brand of the Year 2020 at the Vegan Awards

Nikolopoulou company’s participation in this year’s Vegan Awards by Boussias Communications, organized for the first time in Greece, proved to be a triumph.

Specifically, the Company’s Veganact brand won the competition’s highest honor and was declared Vegan Food & Beverage Brand of the Year 2020!

Additionally, in the Alternative Meat Products category, Veganact was honored with gold awards for the following products:

• Genius meat-free burger
• Genius chicken-free nuggets
• Genius meat-free kebab

Silver awards were also given to:

• Genius meat-free Cordon Bleu
• Genius meat-free meatballs

In the Best Frozen Meals category, the Veganact Vegetable Schnitzel with pine nuts and raisins won a silver award, while the Veganact Cheese Croquettes with plant-based cheeses received a bronze award.

As stated by the Company’s Managing Director, Ms. Eleni Nikolopoulou, “This is a recognition that brings us great joy and fills us with pride for contributing to paving the way for alternative food choices that benefit both our health and the environment.”

The Vegan Awards Judging Committee comprised 40 distinguished personalities from the fields of science, academia, plant-based nutrition and food, as well as the press. The awards ceremony was held online on December 14, in line with current circumstances.
