New Research Project Agreement between Nikolopoulou – Harokopio University

The Nikolopoulou company signed a new research project agreement with the Department of Dietetics and Nutritional Science of Harokopio University

Which will undertake a research project comprising:

A) Design and development of a series of innovative vegan products based on plant-based raw materials

B) Examination of the physicochemical parameters of the new products and evaluation of their nutritional value

C) Supervision of the creation of new production lines

D) Final evaluation report of the new products and the production process

The resulting scientific findings can be published in Greek and international scientific journals and presented at Greek and international conferences. The Nikolopoulou company will have the exclusive rights to exploit and utilize the resulting outcomes in the form of new products.

It should be noted that the company collaborated with Harokopio University in 2019 for the creation of the first Greek innovative alternative meat products, Genius meat-free, which are sold on supermarket shelves.
